Masterclass with Charles Owen

Charles Owen is well known for his work as an accompanist and chamber performer. This has led to a refined sense of orchestration and a delicacy of balance and voicing, all of which inform both his solo playing and also his teaching at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. For this event Charles will be working with 3 or 4 extremely talented members of the Piano Club which is based at the Crossley Gallery in Dean Clough, Halifax.

Similar masterclasses formed part of all seven Hebden Bridge Piano Festival programmes and for many of the audience members they would be the highlights of the weekend, being both informative and entertaining.
