CERYS MATTHEWS’ DESERT ISLAND POEMS
Friday 27 March, 8pm (bar open from 7pm) Tickets: £16
As part of our Spring at Wainsgate celebrations, we are delighted to welcome Cerys Matthews for a very special and intimate evening at the chapel.
Cerys Matthews' Desert Island Poems
In conversation with poet Kim Moore and hosted by Amanda Dalton, Cerys will be castaway with her personal selection of Desert Island Poems — sharing the poems she would take to a faraway shore, along with stories, memories and reflections from a life immersed in music, literature and creative discovery.
Warm, curious and endlessly enthusiastic about great writing, Cerys brings the same infectious spirit that has made her such a beloved broadcaster and performer. Expect a rich evening of poems, conversation and the joy of language shared together in the unique atmosphere of Wainsgate.
