MAJLES

Arabic: مَجلِس “place of sitting”

SATURDAY 3RD OCTOBER

Tickets: £20–£35 Click here to book

Pay what you can; with £25 as the recommended price. If you’re able to pay a little more, you’ll help make Majles accessible to someone who needs to pay less.

Majles is a place of gathering. Of deliberating and conversing, debating and dancing. Rooted in Iranian hospitality, it has the feeling of a living room: informal, intimate and full of possibility. A place of togethership, where food and music are shared, pregnant with unexpected encounters and stimulating connections. A place of congregating, harmony and discord.

Majles is an invitation to voyaging together.

What you experience:

– A soulful three-course Iranian meal prepared with love by chef Iman

– Live music by Majles house band

– Curated short films and live projection

– Conversation with friends and strangers

A happening for the curious and those craving community. Talk with old friends. Meet someone new. There is space for conversation, laughter and dancing or simply the pleasure of sharing a room and a table with people you might not otherwise meet.

No two Majles gatherings will be quite the same. The people in the room make the evening what it is.
