WELCOME

Welcome to Wainsgate Chapel

“a wellspring of creativity”

The Guardian

We’re a historic, evolving space for arts, community, and heritage in the hills above Hebden Bridge. With a growing programme of music, dance, performance, visual arts and other public events—as well as being a unique wedding venue—Wainsgate is a place where old stories and new ideas meet.

Have a look around the site to see what’s on, how to get involved, and to learn more about the building and the events that bring it to life.
